The Pittston City Council approved an update to the City’s Sewer Maintenance Fee as part of aligning with the 2025 City Budget.
Beginning January 1, 2025, residents and property owners will continue to pay a minimum sewer maintenance fee of $82.50 per quarter, which covers usage from 0–15,000 gallons of metered water per quarter.
For properties using more than 15,000 gallons of water per quarter, an additional charge of $4.25 will be added for every additional 1,000 gallons (or portion thereof) used.
These rates will remain in effect unless changed by a future City Council resolution.
